Countdown is on! 2 minutes until: Limoges, France
How do you say Merry Christmas in French? “Joyeux Noël”!
Hi Nicholas! As fast as I try to be, sometimes you kids are just faster! If you do see me, I'll probably ask for some directions-- it's not east navigating all over the world!
Heading due south to Barcelona, Spain! Handheld thermometer says 11C/52F!
If you’re visiting France during Christmas, the place you want to be is in the city of Strasbourg, home ot the oldest Christmas market in Europe. The city has been celebrating the occasion since 1570, when beautiful decorations and treats are sold around its cathedral. It’s a lovely, colorful occasion that’s been replicated in places as far away as Tokyo.
Hi Kayla! Rudolph and I might be a little while longer before we can make it to Weston but I promise we'll get there. There's one catch, though-- you have to be asleep! Sweet dreams, Kayla!
You know what, Alyson? If Santa can fit into his pants each year, I'm sure he can shimmy and squeeze enough to make it down even your skinny chimney! Santa can try to leave a note but he has lots of little girls and boys to visit :)
Ouch, I remember you! But I'm prepared this year and am certain I'm nimble enough to make it to your tree with my bag of presents!
Sunny here! We are still heading due south, sneaking back down to North Africa. Will be in Tunis, Tunisia in less than 2 minutes!!!
Puppet shows and carols are popular in France, take a listen to a famous song called “Minuit chrétiens:
Thanks for the update, Sunny! You know I can sometimes worry about Santa...
Hi Nicholas! Santa will be a little while still before he can make it to Calgary-- but he'll only stop by your house if you're asleep ;)
I understand Mrs. Claus! Don't worry! The reindeer, Correspondence and I are keeping him awake by providing him tons of coffee and we are telling him corny jokes and that is keeping him laughing! He does miss you though and can't wait to see you!
Santa does like to hear that all boys and girls are doing well in school!
Hi, Reana! Coal is definitely a last resort-- I much prefer to give toys to everyone!
Hey Kids - Looks like Santa is going to continue making his rounds over West Africa. I just pulled up the radar and satellite on my Elf Phone and we may have some bumpy weather. I'll keep you posted! We have just left Diré, Mali and headed for Kiffa, Mauritania!
I'm almost positive both Brenna and Kayleigh made it onto my nice list this year. Hope you're all enjoying a wonderful Christmas Eve together!
Wow-- Santa's delivered over 3.8 billion presents so far! Guess all that time in the workshop paid off!
The reindeer as almost as old as me-- which is very old!
The bag is veeeeeery heavy but Santa's been going to the gym so I'm sure he can handle the load!
Thanks for the posts, Alyson! Santa will try his best but once you see the presents under the tree, that should be all the proof you need! And Santa has a few different outfits-- in fact, in Korea he even wears a blue suit!
Oh, Santa is a big fan of games! In fact, he has all of them :)
We are less than one minute away from Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso. I just looked up the forecast and the high temperature is going to be 95F (35C) today!
Hi Fatimah-- of course I remember you! And I'm almost positive I've got your presents in my bag ;)
Instead of counting sheep, try counting reindeer!
Santa has so many favourite Christmas songs but I especially love the ones about my good friends Rudolph and Frosty
