I can attest to some of that turbulence right now as we are flying over parts of Vietnam. Winds from the NE at 25mph making for a rather rocky trip right now! We are all strapped in with our seats in the upright position! There is NO moving around the cabin right now that is for sure!
Good questions Marc, his correspondent elf brushes him off between houses. It's also quite windy on the sleigh - all the soot flies off pretty quick.
Santa is headed towards Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Hi Hanna, we have a long way to go before Yukon, but rest assured we'll make it there tonight. I'll probably be pretty hungry too... so if you have any cookies or sweets for me, it would be much appreciated!
Not too many cookies or sweets, Santa! Maybe leave him some warm tea instead Hanna?
Ho ho ho Jimmy! I do know. Some can't believe I manage to go around the world in one day - but here we are! Knowing if you're naughty or nice isn't too hard either, I bet your parents can give me a hint ;)
That looks nice Mrs. Claus - I can't wait to see all that snow glistening under the moonlight when we get there tonight!
Oh, it seems like forever now!
We'll be in Irkutsk in about 2 minutes! It's one of the biggest cities in Russia :)
It is -22 °F in Irkutsk right now with a wind chill of -39 °F! Turn up the heat!
Brrrr! It's so windy and cold here! I remember we had a close encounter with that lake a couple of years ago. But the reindeer love to drink the fresh cool water there :)
Great question Michael, I love ice-cream, if you happen to have any I wouldn't mind some!
We'll be visiting later tonight, stay here for updates. Weather can be unpredictable so I cannot tell you an exact time.
Haggis is actually pretty good, Hamish. Will you have any leftovers for me?
I'll have to ask my sources. Correspondent elf, can you please take a look into Rosana's file - which list is she on?
Looking into it now, Santa. Looks like Rosana is on the 'nice' list! Congratulations. I hope you see your son this evening too :) you deserve it!
Clear in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan! We can see for miles and miles!!
Santa will be in India in 3 minutes' time.
As we are making the turn toward New Delhi, India - fog is being reported. Just had to tell Rudolph to turn on his low beams.
Did you know? Christmas is also known as bada din (the big day) in India? That area of the world is breathtaking.
Things are clearing now as we turn toward Kathmandu, Nepal. Visibility up to 10 miles!
Rudolph's nose glows from all the holiday cheer! The more Christmas spirit, the brighter it glows!
Santa's sleigh is headed to Bangladesh in 2 minutes!
Oh when Santa was a little boy there were no cartoons around! He does love reading and he's always enjoyed Hans Christian Andersen's fairytales. We highly recommend them, Peter.
Just received a note from some friends in San Bernardino. Amy-Lee, Hunter, Ulyzyz, Aracelee, Leeland, and Jacob - coming through your town later tonight!
